Corn Ribs in the Air Fryer

Corn ribs make fun snacks that the kids will enjoy after school or when running out the door to play. This is such a simple dish to make that it can be part of a nice family meal or even be the main entree.
Ingredients:
fresh corn on the cobunsalted butter, room temperaturegarlic powdercoarse Kosher saltsmoked paprikaground black pepperdried parsleyFresh parsley
Optional Additional Seasonings: Chili powder, lime juice, taco seasoning, chili oil, Elote seasoning, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chipotle powder, or smoked salt.
How to Make Corn Ribs in the Air Fryer:
I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cook times may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes. Optional Favorite Dipping Sauce: Ranch dressing, sour cream and chives, Carolina style bbq sauce, chipotle mayo or Greek yogurt with red pepper flakes. Optional Additional Toppings: Lime wedges, fresh cilantro, fresh coriander or minced garlic butter. Cooking Tips: Use a pastry brush to apply butter mixture to pieces of corn ribs. Cutting the corn into ribs makes it easier to eat especially for the little ones. For crispier corn cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Where can I buy fresh corn on the cob?
Depending on where you live, fresh corn on the cob can be found most of the year in your local grocery stores. During the summer and fall months search out local farmers markets or vegetable stands in your area to find fresh off the farm corn on the cob.
How to store leftovers?
Allow corn to fully cool prior to storing. Place in a resealable storage bag or airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 3 days. Store in an airtight container or freezer storage bag in your freezer for up to 2 months.
What can I serve with this dish?
The real question is what can’t be served with these yummy corn ribs. Tangy Brussel sprouts, an herbaceous flank steak or succulent shake ’n bake pork chops will be wonderful additions to this flavorful corn dish. They will also be delicious with a crisp spinach or arugula salad with your favorite fixings.
